CockroachDB Cloud is a fully managed cloud database platform that eliminates the complexity of database management, enabling your teams to focus on developing applications. For organizations already using Google Cloud services like Pub/Sub or Google Compute Engine (GCE), or Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), purchasing CockroachDB Cloud through Google Cloud Marketplace simplifies procurement and consolidates billing into your existing Google Cloud account.

Previously, we offered two tiers of CockroachDB Cloud: Basic and Advanced. Our new Standard tier, now in preview, supports our vision of building an all-encompassing enterprise-grade solution, providing a middle ground for companies who want the option of limitless scale as they grow, without needing to opt-in to CockroachDB Cloud Advanced today. 

• Basic (formerly known as Serverless): Perfect for smaller applications or those just getting started. With on-demand pricing, and multi-region support, it’s an excellent option for development, testing, and small production workloads.

• Standard (our new plan, now in PREVIEW): Tailored for consolidating production workloads while managing costs. It provides enterprise-grade capabilities and predictable pricing with provisioned pricing at dramatically lower costs, making it a great fit for organizations in growth mode.

• Advanced (formerly known as Dedicated): Built for critical production applications with advanced compliance and security requirements. This plan offers dedicated hardware, stringent SLAs, customization options and support on all three major clouds and all their regions.
